Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement in a sweet Instagram post – and everyone is saying the same thing.
The ‘Shake It Off’ singer has gotten her happy ending, it seems, as she posted a collection of heartwarming pictures of her now fiancé down on one knee – popping the all-important question.
She captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Now, fans are all saying the same thing.
The high-profile pair have been together since July 2023, after they started dating while Swift was in the throes of her now world-famous Eras tour.
Their love story is something out of a song.
Kelce attended the Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium, sharing on his New Heights podcast that he’d tried and failed to give her a friendship bracelet that included his number.
After Swift heard the show, many people in her personal life began to vouch for the football player’s personality, so the pair met, and now the rest is history.
The pop star recently appeared on her now fiancé’s podcast, where she announced: “This podcast got me a boyfriend.”
“My relatives, my cousins, were like, ‘Please, please, please, he’s amazing.’ There were friends that were like, ‘He’s actually an amazing guy, he’s so great.’ There was a lot of people whispering in my ear about you.”
In the immediate aftermath of the engagement announcement, fans could type in either Swift’s or Kelce’s name on Google and see celebratory confetti.

Fans have been waiting for an engagement announcement for virtually their entire relationship, but rumors heated up last month when photos of Kelce’s lock screen made the rounds on social media.
The screen appeared to show a photo of the duo with Swift flashing an outstretched hand, seemingly with an enormous ring on it.
One fan said at the time: “Not to be that person, but on his lock screen is she holding up her hand with a ring on her finger. Is it an engagement photo?”
